I have an older, very high quality Oster blender. The replacement lid was a much inferior quality, hard plastic, and did not fit snug. The cost of returning was going to more than the cost of the item, so the box is still on the back seat of my truck - us

Fits as it should. It's made from a thin plastic while the older version is thick rubber. Older version is much nicer and seals better.
