It replaced original glass one I broke. It was smaller than original. Thankfully I read the product comments of others before purchasing to find out the original lid will NOT fit

Too bad it does not ship with a lid, this was a (plastic) replacement for a glass jar that broke on our old blender, and unfortunately the old lid does not fit.
