We purchased this motor for our Epic 6500. It was the corrrect motor for our vacuum. It took my husband about an hour to install it. It needed a very minor modification to fit our machine. The motor is working great.

The motor fit my old Electrolux vacuum cleaner. It is smooth-running and has strong suction, but you can't run it for over 30-45 minutes at a time or else it will overheat. Once it cools off, it's back to normal operation.

The motor fit right into my Electrolux Renessance Vacuum It has worked great so far It does not look quite as heavy duty as the original motor, but works

The original has a cone shaped fan housing that seals against a ribber boot to seal it This motor is flat on the fan housing and does not seal properly I don't know what it fits but not an Epic 6500 as I was told
