I had to twist the rubber coupling off the diecast threaded part. Then break the diecast off the shaft by cutting and twisting it to break it off in little pieces so as not to damage the shaft threads.

Once I removed the old one I was able to get the new one on very easily. Would recommend this to anyone that needs to replace their rubber clutch. A tool to hold the screw in place and unscrew the old clutch would be better than stripping the old clutch
