THIS HOSE IS NOT THE BASE MODEL WITH WIRE RUNNING THE LENGTH OF HOSE GIVING SUPPORT TO PREVENT COLLAPSE OF HOSE. THE ADDED ELECTRICAL PLUG CONNECTION IS USELESS FOR USAGE ON THE SYSTEM. THE OFFERING I PURCHASED IT FROM DID NOT SHOW THAT CONNECTION SO I

my old hose leaked , so the vacuum wouldn't suck. Now it sucks!

I am so glad I am able to use my electrolux again I do have an up right vac but is heavy and hard to use if you have back problems The old electrolux canister is lighter and much easier to use I am so glad I found this hose since I have missed it so much
