Total Vac has the best price for a simple rubber Cuisinart gasket for my blender Other sites wanted to charge me double or triple just for one gasket,so I purchased 3 gaskets, to have extras on hand It's much appreciated, especially since I live in Hawaii

I made the mistake of putting the whole disassembled Cuisinart blender (including the rubber gasket) in the dishwasher, which normally does its thing without incident This time it ate the gasket -- which was nowhere to be found and was presumably digested
