Buying factory OEM replacement belts is the best way to go. The generic aftermarket ones just do not hold up and are thrown from the track often. These are made to fit and give much longer life and use.

My old panasonic MC-5116 has been relegated to basement floor cleaning , but it still works. Make sure you lube those old beater bars or you'll burn right thru the belts. I'm glad total vac carrys parts for these older vac's.
