Works great to keep machine clean and working like a dream!!!! These coffee machines are very expensive, so I'm glad the machine tells you when to use the descaling tablets or I would never get around to it!!! I'm sure regular descaling extends the life

Meile recommends that the descaling tablets be used after a certain number of times you use the oven Oven will actually 'lock' you out if not descaled by needed service interval Coffe machine isn't sold in my area that I know of
