The newer model with duel brushes doesn't seem to work as well as my old bissel with one brush. Like the way hose for tools are no longer external. I am still evaluating this new product but think Bissell may have dropped the ball on this one.

It's a replacement part, so if I didn't like the machine in the first place I wouldn't have tried to extend its life. Also cheaper than buying a whole new machine when the motor works fine.

I bought this replacement due to our old one being stinky and a useless piece broke off. This replacement part was better than buying a whole new unit. I would do it all over again if needed.
