It connects and disconnects easily. Wish I had replaced it years ago instead of fighting with a cracked and stiff old hose that was almost all duct tape. I love my Rainbow

I love my new hose . My rainbow is very old and still outside any newer regular vacuum . I replaced the non electric hose, bare floor, duster, and carpet pieces . Should have done it years ago. No problems with pieces.
