I noticed holes in my old Rainbow hose and tried duct tape to cover them, but the tape moves and makes my hand sticky Also it looks bad Now that I have the new hose, though, I can't get the old one off the metal piece and therefore can put the new hose on

I had to modify the retaining clip to get it to clamp into the vacuum Unfortunately, I could not get a perfect fit but, did get it to work It is not on a par with O E M but will save you money

Duct tape only temporarily covers holes in the hose The tape moves, and my hand gets sticky Also duct tape looks bad except when used on ducts However, I can't get the old hose off the metal tube so I can't put the new hose on Therefore, my new hose remai

The latch that keeps the hose attached to the canister did not have enough range of movement Once I forced it on, I could not get it off with out the aid of a flathead screwdriver to force the metal tab down far enough into its reasess to allow the snug f

This item worked but I had a heck of a time when I tried to remove the hose I had to get something to use to be able to press the clip down so I could take the hose off
