My only complaint is this: If the part is a total redesign from the original, especially in the wiring, instructions should be included on how the wiring should be now. I had to do an internet search hoping there was a diagram. I did find one[...]

I have had a rainbow for years. Then one day it just stopped working. Had a friend look at it and he determined the switch (on and Off) went bad. Needed a new switch. Now it is working perfect again.

this swich arrived in perfect condition and I presume it works as desired but was purchased in case it was needed when installing a new motor the motor works well with the old switch and I will keep the new one

Although is not the same exact switch as the origional, this does work I should recommend that a basic knowledge of alternating current theory be applied before proceeding With just three wire nuts, you will be back in business
