Mine did not fit It was too tall if the round end cap is not flat Mine had a shoulder that bumps out so the nut won't reach the screw

This filter is too long for the older model Ridgid 6 gal or larger units Although the dimensions are given and I should have measured before ordering, the ad description said "fits ALL" Not a bad filter, just a bad description
