I'm not sure if it's a flaw in the Kenmore Progressive vacuum, or this cheap plastic end cap, but it continues to break. I have had to buy a new one every 4 to 6 weeks in order to use my vacuum to clean carpets. And I make sure I always cut the wound up

Was impressed by the quality until i realized that the bristles stop about two inches short of one end compared to original. That means it will no longer be able to vacuum to the edge anymore. I find that most annoying since the original did a great job.
