Vacuum cleaner brush roll fits Riccar 1500, 1700, and the Pristine model and Simplicity S36, Verve and S24 models. The wooden roller brush assembly comes completely assembled with all of the components of the roller brush including the wooden core and brushes, 2 ball bearings, as well as 2 rubber ends caps. This roller brush should be replaced every 4-5 years, or whenever the brushes and bearings wear out. Genuine Riccar / Simplicity vacuum part.

I found this product to be superior over the old one, which tended to collect debris in the ends I have not had that problem with the newer design
