This 3-piece central vacuum remote control allows you to use your central vac unit without running low voltage wire. This set-up can be used in a new construction or existing home. The remote control set-up enables you to activate your vacuum unit in any existing home where the low voltage wire is no longer working properly. Your low voltage wire may not be working because of a bad installation, wires have rotted or come loose over time, someone in the attic accidentally tripped on a wire or rodents ate through the wire. This remote has a key fob that can be carried or attached to the hose. Includes; 1 Remote Transmitter, 1 Wireless Receiver, 1 Extendable Antenna Wire, 1 AC Adapter and Easy to follow instructions.

Something broke in our central vac unit, and I needed to find a wireless way to turn it on and off This unit worked for 3 or four times, then would turn the vac on but not off i think if the antenna were longer it would have worked the picture on line
