This was a replacement attachment for a very old Electrolux. I was worried it would not fit or work with such an old machine (30+ years?). But it seems to be perfect. Our old attachment had literally fallen apart. The new one seems to be identical except

Was able to use the rug tool with my very old Electrolux Was able to attach it using my existing connector - the plastic one sent with the head did not fit
