There's nothing special about it except that it fits the Hoover wand. The original died of overuse a long time ago and couldn't find a replacement til now. The price is very fair - much less than the generic purchased at [@] which actually didn't fit the

The dogs hid the brush attachment that came with the vacuum cleaner. I am glad that I was able to replace it because I use this attachment whenever I vacuum.
