This part was the correct part for my model vacuum, but the plastic molding had a small raised portion that was not on the original I had to cut that off, then it worked perfectly It was close enough

This is a much better actuator arm than the original which is thin and breaks easily One wonders what was Hoover thinking with the factory part, but it is clearly a piece of junk

The most common cause of failure in Hoover Windtunnels is the breakage of this pivot bar that controls the drive function It is most easily broken by lifting the Windtunnel by the control handle, a misuse [], however it is a weak link and does break from

The self-propelled feature of our vac gave out Most repair places tell you to buy a new one We figured it out, found the part and fixed it for a few bucks That saved us some $ and kept it out of the landfill Good deal[]
