The wheels work but in order to replace the wheels on the older models you have to keep the small plastic ring from the original ones and put them on the new ones in order for the new part to fit and stay in the old machine - otherwise they do not lock in

I gave these a 3 because while well made, they are what should have been on the vac instead of the original cheapies Also, shafts were too narrow, so I had to wrap with duct tape in order to stay in place Vac rolls easier now than before Shop Vac has too
