Central vac motor fits Electrolux central vac models 1580, 1590 and Centralux. Nutone models 750 and 450, Beam and Hoover central vacs and Hayden 6000+ models. Motor is 8 1/2 inches in height and a base width of 6 inches. Brand new, not re-built 3 stage vacuum motor manufactured by Ametek Lamb.

read previous comments re: purchasing a new central vac unit vs. replacing the motor. I opted to replace the motor. great suggestion! the motor was easy to install, works as like a new system. this choice saved money and the vac is running like new!
